Patience paid off for Herman

Just like that, the search was over. After traveling hundreds of miles and sending out tape around the country, Brad Herman waited patiently for an offer from someone. That someone turned out to be the Iowa, where he will be moving shortly.

On the football field, Jordan Cotton can just about do it all. The 6-foot-1, 170-pound Cotton carried the load offensively for Mount Pleasant last season finishing with 1,449 yards rushing and 17 touchdowns. See Cotton's highlight video here.  

Griggs relishes opportunity

A couple years ago, New Jersey native J.D. Griggs saw the Iowa Hawkeyes play on TV and hoped that one day he would have a chance to play at a program like that. After receiving a scholarship from Iowa this past year, he now has that chance.
